Freedom for Your Pet, Done Without the Cracks

Fitting a cat flap into glass is not a job for guesswork. Cut a sealed double-glazed unit incorrectly and you risk cracking the pane or breaking the seal — leaving you with a misted window and a bigger bill.

We install cat flaps into glass and doors across Berkshire and the South East, doing it properly so your pet gets their freedom and your glazing stays sound.

Cat Flap Options

Every installation is specified around your door or window, your glass type, and the flap you’d like fitted. We’ll help you get the right result for your pet and your property.

We can help with installations including:

  • Cat flaps fitted into double-glazed units
  • Installations into timber, uPVC and composite doors
  • Microchip and magnetic flaps for controlled access
  • Standard and larger flaps for bigger cats or small dogs
  • Replacement of an existing flap into a new unit
  • Sensible positioning advice for your pet and the door

Why the Glass Matters

Cutting glass for a cat flap is a specialist job. Our aim is to fit the flap neatly and securely while keeping your double glazing sealed and efficient.

We take care to:

  • Supply a new, correctly sized sealed unit with the aperture pre-cut
  • Preserve the glazing’s insulation and weather seal
  • Fit the flap squarely, level and flush
  • Finish the surround cleanly for a tidy result
  • Match the flap and finish to your door where possible
  • Leave the installation secure and draught-free

Note: cutting a hole into an existing sealed double-glazed unit will usually break the seal — so we typically supply and fit a new toughened unit with the aperture already cut, giving you a clean, lasting result.

How we work

From Concept to Installation

Initial conversation

We begin with a discussion about your project, your space, and what matters most to you, whether that is slim frames, thermal performance, ease of access, or budget.

Survey & specification

We carry out a detailed site survey, take accurate measurements, and advise on suitable configurations, frame material, glazing, and finishes. This is where we help you decide between aluminium and uPVC for your specific opening and goals.

Installation & finishing

On installation day we protect surrounding areas, remove old frames where required, install the new sliding doors, and complete all sealing and trims with care. The aim is a neat, weather tight result that feels integrated with the property.

Aftercare

Once the doors are in place we carry out final checks and show you how to operate and look after the system so it continues to perform smoothly.
